Recently, Parker Construction finished a project on this Nonquit Pond property, adding a garage and master suite to this coastal 1860s farmhouse. Outside, additions to the exterior match the historical corbels and trim of the original house; the landscape includes usable outdoor spaces including a bluestone terrace and wood deck .
Inside, modern meets historic as modern millwork intermingles with trim matching the original. New masonry fireplaces were added to the first floor at the barn room and in the master bedroom on the second. Throughout the first floor distinct colors and textures meet, creating a lively whole: the kitchen features vibrant tile work against sleek countertops, while the living room transitions to clean wood floors with matching ceiling details, and a stair featuring a cable rail system leads to the second floor.
