This Tudor-style East Side home was given modern updates and renovated to reflect its new owners' personal style. Parker Construction wholly reconditioned the interior to include a remodeled kitchen, a new master suite and children's bedrooms, as well as an addition housing a new bathroom.
The centerpieces of this renovation have to be the new children's bedrooms: the boys' room was designed to have an adventure theme, including racecar beds, a castle, and climbing wall. The girls' bedroom proved the biggest challenge to the project as the two-level design required some creative thinking to properly layout given the limited attic space available; the result is a fairytale suite complete with whirlpool tub.
The whimsical style of these rooms carry through to the shared spaces, with the kitchen featuring a Trompe l'Oeil-style mural painted on the wall of the Butler's pantry. The home also includes custom millwork, a well-appointed library that mixes austere woodwork with lively furnishings, and an elegant main entry where the eye is drawn to beautiful curved stair finished with an intricate metal railing and two arched panels of stained glass, mimicking a tower.
Outside, PCCI installed new hardscape, landscape, and landscape lighting. The outdoor space includes a new patio, perfect for entertaining, with stone and slab steps leading up to the yard.
